Police issued silver alerts on Monday afternoon for a 15-year-old boy missing from Groton and a 31-year-old man missing from New London.

The Groton teenager, Nygiel Shaw, was listed by police as an “endangered runaway,” but has since been found safe, police said.

The New London man, Ryan Pettiford, also has been missing since Friday, police said. Police describe him as Black, five feet, nine inches tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. New London Police ask people with any information about Pettiford’s whereabouts to call them at (860) 447-5269.
