Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-95 in Stonington
Stonington ― A Charlestown, R.I. man was killed late Monday night when the motorcycle he was driving veered off the road in the area of Exit 91 on the northbound side of Interstate 95.
State police from Troop E in Montville said George Werrbach, 55, was traveling north on his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the right lane when it traveled off into the right shoulder. The motorcycle crashed into the metal beam guardrail. The accident was reported at 11:36 p.m.
Police said Werrbach sustained fatal injures. The crash remains under investigation.
