New London fire promotes one, welcomes new firefighters

New London ― New London Fire Chief Thomas Curcio on Friday promoted firefighter Andrew Rozek to the rank of lieutenant.
The promotion was made during a ceremony at the department’s north station on Broad Street where five new recruits were sworn in as probationary firefighters.
The new firefighters are Nohely Rivera, Michael Paige, Ralph Mayo, Kyle Krystofik and Phillip Allen.
