Police investigate bank robbery in Norwich

Norwich ― Police are investigating an afternoon robbery on Monday at the Taftville branch of Dime Bank.

Police said that at 1:39 p.m. a man walked into the bank at 630 Norwich Ave., presented a note demanding money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police, in a statement, described the suspect as a “light skinned, tan male.”

No further information was immediately available.
