Groton ― A southbound lane of Interstate 95 remained closed Friday night, hours after a tractor-trailer truck overturned and slowed traffic for hours between exits 90 and 88.

The one-vehicle crash, reported at approximately 1:15 p.m., initially shuttered the highway’s left and center lanes. By 7:30 p.m., the left lane was still closed, state police said.

Police said the crash resulted in minor injuries, but no other details were immediately available.
