    Search for missing Stonington man extends to Maine

    Stonington ― Local police are working with law enforcement agencies, including in Maine, to locate a man who has been reported missing for four days, Deputy Chief Todd Olson said Monday.

    Douglas Paul, 66, was last seen on Nov. 16, according to a news release from the state police’s communications center.

    Olson said Paul’s phone had “pinged” in Maine.

    According to the release, Paul is white, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He is 6-foot-1 and weighs 140 pounds, and may be operating a 2007 Green Jeep Wrangler with CT license plate 9AJUB1

    Olson said the supervisor in charge of the missing person case has been in constant contact with Paul’s family, and the department is actively making efforts to find him. He urged anyone with information to contact Stonington police at (860) 599-4411.
