    Two cars damaged, no one injured in New London shooting

    New London ― Police said that two parked, unoccupied vehicles were stuck by gunfire but no one was injured in a downtown shooting early Sunday morning.

    Police said that at 12:21 a.m., they responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired in the area of Bank and Golden streets.

    Capt. Matthew Galante said officers found shell casings and bullets in the area and confirmed a shooting had taken place. Multiple rounds had been fired.
