Waterford ― A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 northbound closed the highway between exits 81 and 82, near a truck weigh station, state police and the state Department of Transportation reported Monday.

The crash occurred at 5:16 p.m. and involved a state police cruiser, police said. Injuries were reported and two people, including a state trooper, were taken for treatment at an area hospital, police said.

The highway reopened early Monday night. Police provided no further details.
