Norwich police arrest man on drugs, gun charges
Norwich ― Police arrested a Union Street man Thursday after they searched his home and seized crack cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone and a loaded 9mm handgun.
Police said that after a lengthy investigation, city detectives and the state police Violent Crime Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant at the 122 Union St. home of 46-year-old William Felix.
He was charged with three counts of possession of narcotics and one count each of criminally negligent storage of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, alteration of a firearm identification number, risk of injury to a minor, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of a narcotic substance with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Felix was held on a $200,000 bond and is slated to be arraigned Friday in Norwich Superior Court.
