    Three people seriously wounded, 16-year-old girl is suspect in New London stabbing

    New London ― Police have identified a 16-year-old girl in the stabbing of three adults who suffered serious wounds Wednesday afternoon, police said.

    Police received 911 calls at 3:29 p.m. reporting a stabbing at a home on Connecticut Avenue, police said. Police arrived and discovered three adult victims had received serious, non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment.

    Police said a 16-year-old female was identified as the suspect, and the victims were known to the suspect. A knife was recovered at the scene. No charges have been announced.

    The investigation remains active. Anyone with information concerning the incident is asked to contact the New London Police Department detective bureau at (860) 447-1481.
