Norwich ― Police on Friday announced the arrest of 27 individuals as part of a joint law enforcement operation in which they served 30 arrest warrants, most related to violations of the state’s sexual offender registry.

Individuals on the registry because of a criminal conviction must verify their address.

Norwich police said the operation was conducted Thursday in coordination with Connecticut Department of Correction, Connecticut Adult Probation and Connecticut Parole.

The following were arrested:

Alfred Grimes, 61, of 61 Garden Spring Ave. was charged with six counts of failure to register and one count of second-degree failure to appear in court.

Dana Snow, 73, of 40 Hobart Ave. was charged with failure to register.

Sampson Woldu, 54, of 18 Paddock Lane was charged with failure to register.

Sidney Hannah, 65, of 5 Gardner Court was charged with seven counts of failure to register.

Manuel Soler, 38, of 13 Aspen Court was charged with three counts of failure to register.

Jacob Rhoades, 29, of 23 Pearl St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Matthew Golden, 35, of 61 Union St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Junior Ramos, 35, of 104 Providence St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

John Lockwood III, 35, of 152 Broadway was charged with four counts of failure to register.

Leon Mccarty, 66, of 7 Tenth St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Todd St. Germain, 55, of 34 Broadway was charged with four counts of failure to register.

Raymond Warren, 66, of 5 Richard Brown Road, Uncasville, was charged with nine counts of failure to register.

Morgan Gray, 24, of 32 Huntington Ave. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Arthur Brainard, 77, of 15 Russel Road was charged with one count of failure to register.

Jose Quintana, 46, of 101 Summit St. was charged with three counts of failure to register.

Marc Page, 61, of 54 Dubois Road, Montville, was charged with two counts of failure to register.

Patrick Clark, 37, of 64 Boswell Ave. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Spencer Jenkins, 41, of 333 W. Thames St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

James Roseboro, 57, of 18 Pearl St. was charged with one count of failure to register.

Justin Phillips, 40, of 47 Summit Woods Drive was charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree harassment.

Ruben Colon, 31, of 5 Grove St. was charged with violation of a protective order and criminal violation of a restraining order.

Carlos Lopez, 34, of 311 Asylum St. was charged with driving with a suspended license, traveling unreasonably fast, unsafe passing, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart and disobeying the signal of an officer.

Eric Vancamp, 58, of 183 Gifford Lane, Bozrah, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Joseph Loomis, 39, of 488 E. Main St. was charged with criminal violation of a restraining order.

Shane Caffrey, 51, of 160 Broadway was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court.

Carlito Pina, 35, of 306 Norwich Ave. was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Benjamin Stavens, 32, of 63 Washington St. was charged with two counts of violation of a protective order.
