    Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Sept. 4

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Saturday, Sept. 4Police correspondent Jason J. Marchi compiles the Police Incident Report.

    • A 19 year-old man of Ferry Road was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

    •A 22 year-old man of Clapboard Hill Road was arrested at 3:35 a.m. and with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving the wrong way on a one way street.

    • A 28 year-old Berlin man was arrested at 8:35 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

    • A 62 year-old man of Sandy Point Road was arrested at 10:04 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • A 47 year-old man of Boston Post Road was arrested at 10:15 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • A 56 year-old man of Cottage Place was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:15 a.m. for traveling unreasonably fast and failure to have insurance on Essex Road at Anchorage Lane.

    • A 38 year-old Ivoryton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:59 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

    • A 20 year-old East Hampton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:35 p.m. for speeding at over 60 miles per hour on Route 1 at the railroad bridge.

    • A 35 year-old Clinton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:45 p.m. for traveling unreasonably fast and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension on Route 1 at the railroad bridge.
