    Guilford Police Incident Report for Oct. 13

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.Wednesday, Oct. 13From Oct. 7 through Oct. 13 the Guilford Police Department received 242 calls for service. Police made six arrests, investigated nine motor vehicle accidents, issued 14 infractions, 34 written warnings and four verbal warnings. Police made five child safety seat installation.     •  A 25 year-old New Haven resident was charged on a warrant with criminal violation of a protective order and harassment.

    • A 56 year-old New Haven resident was charged with breach of peace and first-degree assault, after police responded to a report of a male assaulted by another male in a room at Valley Shore Motel, 500 Route 80,  9:24 p.m.

    • Criminal mischief, mailbox damaged overnight, Northwood Drive.

    • Four teenaged boys playing on the railroad tracks were reported in the vicinity of Driveway and Old Whitfield Street, 2:54 p.m. They were gone when police arrived.

    • Theft, jewelry taken, Alden Drive.

    • Theft, bicycle on the green taken by a juvenile male, 6:27 p.m.

    • Neighbor trouble, festival causing vehicles to drive over caller’s lawn, Goose Lane, 8:06 p.m.

    • Dogs reported barking for days at a Fox Run address were found to have no food or water; dogs appeared aggressive, 9:43 p.m. The case was turned over to the town’s animal control officer.

    • Family dispute, Barnshed Lane, 11:20 p.m.
