    Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Jan. 3

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Tuesday, Jan. 3Senior correspondent Jason J. Marchi compiles the Police Incident Report.

    • No arrests were made.

    • A 25 year-old Portland man and a 27 year-old East Haddam man were issued citations at 6:32 a.m. for possession of less than ½ ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Elm Street at Ingham Hill Road.

    • A 36 year-old man and a 36 year-old woman, both of Old Lyme, were issued citations at 6:25 p.m. for creating a public disturbance on Boston Post Road.

    • From December 28 to January 3 Old Saybrook police also issued four citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, three citations for traveling unreasonably fast, two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, one citation for failure to renew driver’s license, and one citation for using a hand-held cell phone while driving.
