    Guilford Police Incident Report for July 21 and 22

    The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.

    Saturday, July 21

    •A 50 year-old Marvel Road resident was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an emergency call and second-degree threatening.

    •A pipe used for smoking was found on the sidewalk near the basketball court outside Adams Middle School, 233 Church St.

    •Suspicious activity, telephone lines to house ripped off from street box overnight, Route 80, 1300 block.

    •Family dispute, Marvel Road, 6:55 p.m.

    •Violation of town ordinance, alcohol being consumed by person at table at Chaffinch Island Park, 7:28 p.m.

    •A wire on fire, which had already gone out, was reported at Mobile On the Run, 1164 Boston Post Road at 8:39 p.m. CL&P was notified.

    •Noise complaint, Winthrop Road, 11:21 p.m.

    •Noise complaint, West Street, 11:33 p.m.

    Sunday, July 22

    •A 29 year-old Branford resident was charged with violation of a protective order and second-degree breach of peace.

    •Family dispute, Whitfield Street, 12:18 a.m.

    •Noise complaint, Alden Drive, 1:42 a.m.

    •Noise complaint, caller hears voices coming from 66 High Street building, 2:32 a.m.

    •Medical assistance was requested to a fall victim at the corner of 99 Whitfield St., 4:21 p.m.

    •A person was reported for taking a vehicle without permission, Mirror Lane, 9:44 p.m.

    •Noise complaint, loud party, Kimberly Drive, 11:32 p.m.
