    Clinton Police Incident Report for Oct. 30 and 31

    The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

    Wednesday, Oct. 30

    • A 24 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 8:27 a.m. on a warrant charging him with burglary in the third degree, larceny in the third degree, and criminal mischief in the third degree.

    • A 67 year-old Madison man was arrested at 10:58 a.m. and charged with drinking while operating a motor vehicle and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on Glenwood Road.

    • A 46 year-old man of Fairy Dell Road was arrested at 11:05 a.m. and charge with owning or harboring a dog to create a nuisance (subsequent arrest for this offense) following a complaint about an animal on Pleasant Valley Road.

    • A 21 year-old woman of Pearl Street was arrested at 8:05 p.m. and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order.

    Thursday, Oct. 31

    • No arrests were made.

    • Harassment was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 11:54 a.m.

    • A family abuse/neglect incident was investigated on Fairy Dell Road at 1:50 p.m.

    • A larceny was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 2:57 p.m.

    • Suspicious activity was investigated on Sunnybrook Lane at 3:51 p.m.
