    East Lyme

    Martha Church, 57, of 196 Butlertown Road, Waterford, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in proper lane.

    State Police ― Montville

    Lloyd VanLanen, 59, of 12 Heath Spur, Ledyard, was charged Wednesday in Preston with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to drive in the proper lane.

    Dominic Q. Carson, 39, of East Providence, R.I., was charged Tuesday in Lisbon with fifth-degree larceny.

    Luis A. Reyes, 19, of 127 Slater Ave., Apt. C, Griswold, was charged Tuesday in Lisbon with violation of a protective order.

    Kaylin M. Spencer, 38, of 7 Brewer St., Uncasville, was charged Monday in Montville with evading responsibility, second-degree breach of peace, violation of a protective order, second-degree threatening and second-degree reckless endangerment.

    Karl M. Mello, 41, of Gardner, Mass., was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

    Christopher Vargas-Lebron, 31, of 49 Prest St., unit 2, New London, was charged Dec. 1 in New London with evading responsibility and following too closely.

    David Webster, 80, of 26 Crandall Hill Road, Apt. 20, Montville, was charged Dec. 1 in Middletown with failure to register as a sex offender.

    Joseph Turano, 28, of no known address, was charged Monday with violation of a protective order.

    Cheryl A. Lepuikko, 51, of 15 Liberty St., first floor, was charged Tuesday with second-degree breach of peace.

    Thomas C. Oat, 70, of 12 Water St., unit 410, Mystic, was charged Wednesday with first-degree criminal trespass.
