Police: Teen urinated on Old Lyme property, provoked fight
Old Lyme — State police arrested two Windsor Locks teenagers last week after one allegedly urinated on private property and then got into a fight with the homeowner, according to police.
According to police, 19-year-old Nathan Stuart Dern urinated on the property of a Hartford Avenue home shortly before 7 p.m. June 11. Police said Dern, whom the homeowner confronted, then physically injured the homeowner as well as another party.
The other teenager, Glenn Lee Smith, 18, allegedly was “involved verbally” in the altercation.
Dern is facing charges of breach of peace, third-degree assault and third-degree assault on an elderly person.
Smith was charged with breach of peace.
Both are due in New London Superior Court Tuesday.
