    Two charged after car, motorcycle collide in New London

    New London — Police charged two men Monday night after a motorcycle and a car collided, sending the motorcyclist to the hospital.

    According to police, the crash happened about 8:40 p.m. near 429 Colman St. Police said officers determined the car driver caused the wreck.

    Anthony McLaughlin, 22, of 25 Walden Ave. was cited for making an improper turn.

    Police identified Tyrone Mazyck, 32, of 14 Lincoln Court as the motorcyclist and said crews took him to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

    Mazyck also is facing charges, which include misuse of plates, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to carry minimum insurance and driving a motorcycle without a motorcycle license endorsement.
