Michael Hamelin, 40, of 44 Wildflower Dr., Westerly, was charged Sunday withdriving  under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple-lane highway.

Devon Ward, 18, of 17 East Ave., Norwich, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive on the right.

Timothy Cooper, 51, of 378 Norman Road Apt. 15, Griswold, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Gillian Gardner, 44, of 16 First St., Plainfield, was charged Saturday with fifth-degree larceny.

Wilbert Ruperto, 27, in the custody of Corrigan Correctional Institution, was charged Saturday with threatening.

Simone J. Roderick, 21, of 27 Soule St., Jewett City, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.

Jessica Jackson, 29, of 120 Elizabeth St., Apt.  107, Norwich, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

Sean Walder, 27, of New Haven, was charged Saturday with violation of protective order.

Shaquille R. Whitfield, 23, of Tampa, Fla., was charged Friday with engaging police in pursuit, reckless driving, risk of injury to a child, driving without a license, defective windshield/wiper, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of markers  and failure to have minimum insurance.

Lauren Fogarty, 29, of 64 Midway Oval, Groton, was charged Monday with second-degree breach of peace.

Lena A. Curland, 18, of 8 Williams St., Apt. 2, Mystic, was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right and traveling unreasonable fast.

Geovannie Sanchez, 32, of Meriden, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license, failure to have head lamps, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and drinking while driving.

Sadie Markovitz, 26, of 19 Cinderella Lane was charged Sunday with third-degree strangulation and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Karena Morton, 41, of 141 Shaw St., New London, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license, failure to meet minimum insurance requirements and failure to wear a safety belt in the front seat.
