'Cop on Top' event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut

Groton — Town police officers on Friday will climb the roof of Cardinal Honda and stay there for more than 24 hours to help raise funds for Special Olympics Connecticut.
The “Cop on Top” event will kick off at 7 a.m. Friday at the dealership. Slated to last until 5 p.m. Saturday, it will feature food trucks, giveaways, music from Jammin’ 107.7 and mascots from the Connecticut Sun and the Connecticut Tigers.
Cardinal Honda is at 531 Route 12.
