Fatal motorcycle crash in Colchester

Colchester — A Colchester man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash Thursday, state police said.

Police said the motorcyclist was driving north of 475 New London Road in Colchester about 2:44 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle and went into the grassy area adjacent to the right shoulder.

Police identified the man as Ricky Ayala, 33, of 116 Broadway St., No. 2.

Police are investigating the crash and ask anyone with information to call Trooper Bernier at the Troop K state police barracks in Colchester at (860) 465-5400, ext. 4061.
