Police issued on early Tuesday morning a Silver Alert for a missing Groton man.

Police said Michael Perry, 55, who has gray hair and blue eyes and is 6 foot 1 and weighs 190 pounds, has been missing from Groton since Tuesday.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and jeans and was possibly headed to Waterbury in a gray Chrysler 2000 series with Connecticut registration AU95322, according to police.
