State police — Montville

Tracy Burgess, 51, of 6 Mechanic St., Jewett City, was charged Saturday in Griswold with first-degree forgery, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

John Sanipas, 41, of 6 Mechanic St., Griswold, was charged Saturday with interfering with an officer.

Darryl Russell, 31, of New Haven, was charged Sunday in Preston with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and passing in a no-passing zone.

Ryan Dowden, 35, of Moodus, was charged Sunday in North Stonington with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Norwich

Richard Hedges, 41, of 72 Pine St., was charged Saturday with two counts of third-degree assault, breach of peace and interfering with an officer.

Edwin Desormeau, 50, of 32 Prospect St., was charged Thursday with driving while using a cellphone, driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a traffic signal.

Jeffrey Scherp, 58, of Sterling, was charged Sunday with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, inteferring with an officer and tampering with or fabrication of evidence.

Waterford

Felipe Ajeatas, 31, of 309 Broad St., New London, was charged Sunday with second-degree failure to appear in court and driving with a suspended license.
