Four sent to hospital after Jeep rollover in Waterford
Waterford — Four people were taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after a Jeep they were riding in rolled over in the area of 44 New Shore Road late Friday night, town police said.
The accident was called in at 10:50 p.m., Sgt. Troy Gelinas said Saturday morning.
One person was entrapped in the 2020 white Jeep, he said, but did not sustain serious injuries. He could not verify the ages and genders of the people in the vehicle.
Waterford and Niantic ambulances responded to the scene, as well as town police and firefighters, including a rescue truck from the Cohanzie Fire Department.
Gelinas said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
