Groton — Town police released on Tuesday more information regarding a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 184 and Tollgate Road that left three people injured.

Police said 49-year-old Robert Lombardo of Willington was driving a 2015 Harley Davidson FLHX east on Route 184 with his passenger, 45-year-old Sara Cleveland of Manchester, while 28-year-old Christopher Stevens of Groton was traveling west on a Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle.

Lombardo and Cleveland sustained serious injuries and were taken by Life Star helicopter to Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven and Hartford Hospital in Hartford, respectively, according to the report. Stevens was taken by ambulance to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London for treatment of injuries. Stevens had been discharged from the hospital as of Tuesday night, while Lombardo was listed in serious condition. No update on Cleveland's condition was immediately available.
