Person sustains life-threatening gunshot wound at Groton-New London Airport
Groton — A person sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound on Monday that state police said occurred in an incident in which they say there appears to be no criminal aspect.
State police were called to the Groton-New London Airport at 12:45 p.m. for reports of an individual with a gunshot wound. The individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime Squad are investigating.
