Waterford police investigate car versus motorcycle accident

Waterford — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries suffered in a collision with a car Saturday on Route 156.

The motorcycle and car were traveling in opposite directions on Route 156 at about 4:45 p.m. The accident occurred when the car, traveling east, made a left turn onto Route 213 and crossed into the path of the westbound motorcycle.

The driver of the car was issued an infraction for failing to grant right of way.
