    Norwich man faces multiple drug charges following investigation

    Norwich — An investigation by Norwich police, the statewide Narcotics Task Force and the New London FBI office led to the arrest of a city man Thursday following execution of a search and seizure warrant at his Shipping Street address.

    Nehamiah Harvey Lee Carroll III, 30, of 13 Shipping St., Apt. 2, was charged with two counts each of unauthorized possession of narcotics and possession of heroin/cocaine with intent to sell, and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a minor.

    He was held in lieu of a $500,000 cash surety bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Norwich Superior Court on Friday.

    Police said during execution of the warrant, officers seized 42.7 grams of fentanyl, 27.2 grams of crack cocaine and $380.00 in U.S. currency.
