Congressional debate Wednesday at The Garde

New London — Have you decided who you’re voting for in the race for U.S. Representative in the Second District?

The Day, WFSB News 3 and The Garde Arts Center are hosting a debate at 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Garde at 325 State St. where we’ll ask the candidates — Democratic incumbent Joe Courtney, Republican Mike France and Green Party candidate Kevin Blacker — to answer questions on local and national issues.

The Day Executive Editor Timothy J. Cotter is moderating, and three journalists will ask questions: The Day’s legislative reporter, Sten Spinella; WFSB chief political reporter Susan Raff; and Mark Pazniokas, capitol bureau chief for the CT Mirror.

The event is free to the public and will be live-streamed on The Day and WFSB websites. Theater doors open at 6 p.m. and close promptly at 6:45 p.m., with no late seating allowed.
