Mystic's Harvey shines in rehab start

New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, the former Fitch High School star, was impressive on Wednesday night in his second rehabilitation start.

Mystic's Harvey pitched three innings for the Brooklyn Cyclones in their New York-Penn League game against the Aberdeen IronBirds. Harvey gave up one hit and no runs with no walks. He struck out three, all in the third inning when he retired the side on 10 pitches. Harvey had a wild pitch and picked off a runner. He threw 36 pitches, 26 for strikes.

Harvey has been on the disabled list since June 15 with a stress injury to his right shoulder. The team has not announced when, or at what level, Harvey will make his next start.
