The term “virtual tour” can mean a number of things, but, generally, they’re helpful to both a buyer and a seller. Realtor Marie Tyler Wiley explains:
“Virtual tours can be as simple as taking photos of the home and combining them in a video. Or, a Realtor might record video while walking through the home. A 3D rendering enables interested buyers to virtually move from room to room at their own pace. There’s also the option to livestream a tour of the property. All of these marketing tools are useful for buyers who don’t live in the area, giving them the sensation of being at the home. From a seller’s perspective, providing a virtual tour can help your home stand out and increase the likelihood of an offer.”
