Welcome to the 12th annual North Branford Potato & Corn Festival!

Once again this summer, North Branford will erupt in music, fireworks, and squeals of glee when the Potato and Corn Festival returns to town. This year we expect 25,000 people to stream through the gates. They will ride the rides, play games, take hay rides, listen to bands, buy crafts, eat delicious food and "ooh-and-ahh" at the fireworks. Not only that, they will be playing a huge part in making North Branford the community that it is. It really is a great time for the entire family.

The Potato and Corn Festival doesn't just happen, though. It takes the work of hundreds of volunteers, a dedicated staff at the Parks & Recreation Department, and a Town Council, all devoted to the success of the festival, and it takes the support of local businesses. Most important, it takes you. We know it is old-fashioned, but we still think neighbors are important. This festival began 12 years ago with only one intention—that people would come together as a community, have some laughs, share some smiles, and grow closer.

So, be proud. By attending the festival, by getting a thrill, by relaxing on a warm evening, by running a three-legged race or chomping on a freshly roasted ear of corn, you and your neighbors near and far make North Branford and other shoreline communities stronger for everyone. I hope you will spend some time at the festival this year. Together we can build a better place to call home.
