Andrew Williams had a game-high 36 points and 18 rebounds as second-seeded Waterbury Career Academy overwhelmed top-seeded Bloomfield in the fourth quarter and rallied for its first state title on Sunday at Mohegan Sun Arena.
WCA trailed 46-39 at one point in the third quarter, but outscored the Warhawks in the fourth quarter, 32-12, with Williams scoring 21.
Sonny Pierce had 17 points and six rebounds for the Spartans (24-3) and Zaire Lott added 11 points and five rebounds.
Jaysean Williams scored 22 and Davien Kerr had 16 points and six rebounds for Bloomfield (23-4).

Victor Payne made 8 of 12 field goals and finished with a game-high 23 points along with five rebounds as top-seeded Cromwell beat No 3 Ellington to win its 10th state title.
Jacob Salafia scored 11 for Cromwell (25-2).
Cody Murphy had 23 points and three steals for the Knights (22-5) and Bradley Sawka added 10 points, five rebounds and three steals.

James Jones made a go-ahead layup with 55 seconds left as top seeded East Catholic beat No. 2 Northwest Catholic late Saturday night to win its third straight Division I title.
Jones had 24 points and six rebounds for the Eagles (27-1) and Preston Fowler added 12 points and five rebounds. The program has won six of its eight state titles since 2014.
London Jemison had 23 points and six rebounds for the Lions (21-4).
E.O. Smith 58, Pomperaug 46
Madison Hughes had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead No. 3 E.O. Smith to its first state championship.
Jill Dingler scored 14 and Paige Raynor 13 for E.O. Smith (23-4).
Claudia Schneider had 23 points and six assists for the top-seeded Panthers (22-3).
