Local roundup: Avery Point rolls past Massasoit
Brockton, Mass. – Bobby Lasbury allowed one hit over four innings with nine strikeouts and no runs as Avery Point beat Massasoit CC on Tuesday, 10-0, in a baseball game called after eight innings due to the mercy rule.
Lasbury picked up his first win over the season for the Pointers (9-4). Tyler Restivo pitched four innings of scoreless relief with two hits and four strikeouts, Riley Carew had a single and three RBI and Tyler Rice had a double and two RBI for the Pointers.

• Patrick Roche went 2-for-3, including a double, with two runs and an RBI as Boston College beat UConn, 6-3. Bryan Padilla went 3-for-4 with two RBI for UConn (16-6) while Jake Studley went 2-for-3 and scored twice.

• Aidan McAvoy had two goals and an assist as Conn College beat Western Connecticut, 10-6. Bobby Chang and Liam Horkan scored twice for Conn (3-3) and Patrick Atkins had a goal and an assist.
