    Northeast Football Showcase — Saturday, May 6, 2-7 p.m., Xavier High School in Middletown. Provides H.S. players a chance to showcase skills in front of college coaches from Divisions I, II and III. Each player will also receive 3-5 minute online video of individual workout.     NESS summer program — New England Science & Sailing Foundation in Stonington has opened registration for its summer program. Classes are for ages 4-17 in sailing, marine science, fishing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling and powerboarding. Runs for 10 weeks starting June 19 Monday-Friday.
