    H.S. lacrosse: Old Lyme girls beat H-K in regular-season finale

    Old Lyme — Sydney Goulding had four goals and an assist while Alexis Antonellis scored four goals as Old Lyme ended its regular season with an 11-6 girls’ lacrosse win over Haddam-Killingworth on Thursday in a Shoreline Conference game.

    Ella Curtiss Reardon added three goals for the Wildcats (11-9, 9-3) while Gretchen Burgess had two assists, Kelly Sheehan one and goalie Kylie Dishaw made nine saves.

    In other games:

    • Lily Tomczik had seven goals and two assists to carry Montville to a 17-2 win over St. Bernard. Reagan Buscetto added five goals for Montville (8-8) while Addie Concascia and Kylie Spring had one goal and one assist apiece and Madi St. John, Karissa Hochdorfer and Bella Estelle each scored a goal. Chloe Jennings and Gwyneth Howes scored for the Saints (3-10) and goalie Catherine Hannaford had nine saves.

    • Victoria Sturm had three goals and an assist to highlight Waterford’s 17-4 win over Woodstock Academy. Payton Smith added three goals for the Lancers (10-6) while Sadie Tiven, Quinn Brigham, Madison LaForte and Marin Mahoney had two goals apiece and Adyson Wiseman finished with one goal and one assist.

    • Molly Page had seven goals and three assists to lead Norwich Free Academy to a 12-4 win over Killingly. Lauren Friedrich added three goals and three assists for the Wildcats (6-9), Hayleigh Young and Leah Burchman each scored a goal and goalie Sophia Smith made 11 saves.

    Boys

    • Anthony Ballestrini had five goals and two assists while Logan Jenkins added three goals and four assist as NFA rolled to a 16-3 win over Montville. Tommy Brunelli, Wyatt Woodcock and Cortland Beetle added one goal and one apiece for the Wildcats (10-5) while C.J. Frank, Conor Dempsey, Taegon Calouro Nick Winton and Gavin Jenkins each scored one goal.

    • North Haven built a 6-2 halftime lead and held on for a 7-6 win over Waterford. Ayden Bousquet scored four goals for the Lancers (10-6) while Jackson Huta scored twice, Tarance Silvla and Logan Peabody each had an assist and goalie Dylan McCarthy made eight saves.

    • Woodstock outlasted St. Bernard/Wheeler 9-7 despite three goals by Ben Howes and one goal and four assists by Marc Sauchuk. Noah Courter, Jimmy Niles and Skyler Wilson each added a goal for the Saints (5-10) and Johannes Zachhuber stopped 14 shots in goal.
