    UConn women finalize their schedule

    The UConn women’s basketball team released its full 2023-24 season schedule Thursday, including the Huskies’ Big East games, SNY and FOX TV designations.

    UConn also announced which of its home games will be played at Gampel Pavilion on campus and the XL Center in Hartford.

    The Huskies will host Maryland, Ball State, DePaul, Notre Dame, St. John’s, Georgetown and Villanova at Gampel and take on Dayton, Louisville, Butler, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall and Creighton in the XL Center.

    The Huskies’ previously announced non-conference games includes vs. NCAA tournament teams South Carolina, Notre Dame, Maryland, Texas, Louisville, NC State and North Carolina.

    The Huskies will play 17 regular season games on SNY, their television home, starting with the Nov. 8 game against Dayton.

    UConn will play five games on major broadcast networks: at NC State and at Texas on ABC and vs. Louisville, Notre Dame and Creighton on FOX.

    Big East women’s basketball will move to 18 conference games this season. The Huskies will face all teams twice except Xavier and Butler.

    The Huskies have won the Big East regular season and tournament titles in each season since rejoining the conference in 2020. The 2024 Bib East tournament will take place March 8-11 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
