Waterford — Camryn Dickinson converted a free kick with 15 minutes to play as Waterford outlasted East Lyme 2-1 in a matchup of girls’ soccer rivals on Monday night.

The game between the two schools was played for the annual ALS Cup, which helps raise funds for ALS research and family support.

The Vikings (6-3-1) took a 1-0 lead when Lilah Hart’s shot from just outside the 18-yard box caromed off the post and into the net.

Dickinson tied it for the Lancers (7-1) with 4:20 left in the half when she headed home a rebound following an Allison Cioci shot.

Victoria Sturm made two saves in goal for Waterford and East Lyme’s Morgan Dube made seven saves.

In other matches:

• Sienna Sferrazza scored all three goals in St. Bernard’s 3-0 victory over Wheeler. Angelica Tompkins added two assists and Capri Sferrazza one assist for the Saints (5-1), who led 1-0 at halftime and held a 14-6 edges in shots. Wheeler is 3-4.

• Iliana Rashleigh scored one goal and set up a second during Stonington’s 3-1 win over Fitch. Gianna Kennedy and Sofia Regan also scored goals for the Bears (3-5-2), who outshot the Falcons 14-2. Hannah Richardson, assisted by Maerin Lyon, scored for Fitch (0-9) and goalie Jayda Johnson made four saves.

• Hayleigh Young scored three goals while Jordan Fabry had a goal and two assists to highlight Norwich Free Academy’s 6-1 win over Ellington. The Wilcats (5-2-1) broke the match open with four second-half goals. Brooke Bolles added a goal and an assist for NFA while Alex Tabilas had two assists, Dylan Phelps scored a goal and Emily Tucker had an assist.

• Avery Bouchey scored three goals as Montville defeated New London 7-0. Nicole Hudson added three assists for the Wolves (4-4-1) while Jada Chueng had a goal and two assists, Allie Kondash had one goal and one assist, and Sydney Cook and Sienna Gressly eached scored a goal. Italia Salls made 21 saves for the Whalers (1-6).

• Williams School erupted for five goals in the first half and defeated Harvey 7-1. Marlee Anselmi had three goals and two assists for the Blues (3-3) while Skylar Frost had two goals and one assist, Brooke McGloughin had a goal and two assists, Maria Morant scored a goal and Jaidyn Cote had an assist.

Boys’ soccer

• Roman McElwee one-timed a cross from Michael George into the net in the 65th minute to give Norwich Tech a 1-0 victory over Windham Tech in the Connecticut Technical Conference. The Warriors remained unbeaten at 7-0-1 overall, 4-0-1 in the CTC.

• Grasso Tech and Cheney Tech played to a 3-3 draw in the CTC. The Eagles (2-4-1, 2-2-1) trailed 3-1 before back-to-back goals by Christian Ramirez and Luca Iglesias pulled Grasso even in the second half. Iglesias also scored in the first half for the Eagles and Lucas Rode had two assists.

• Owen Snurkowski had two goals and an assist to lead Old Lyme to an 8-1 win over Hale-Ray in the Shoreline Conference. Ian Maeby and Gavin Biega each had one goal and one assist for the Wildcats (2-6, 2-4) while Mason Bussman, Lucas Dasilva, Brenden Landry and Sebastian Lopez-Bravo each scored a goal.

• Harvey outlasted Williams 5-2 as Bryce Bennhoff scored both goals for the Blues (0-6) while Dylan Polidori had an assist and goalie Lukas Lucht made 12 saves.

Volleyball

• East Lyme made quick work of Bacon Academy, defeating the Bobcats 25-12, 25-15 and 25-10. Addison Soleau had seven kills, Rilynn Pollard three kills and Finnley Wilson five kills and three aces for the Vikings (8-2). Kiera Stewart led Bacon (4-6) with 10 assists and six digs while Carolyn Baehr added four blocks.

• Danica Agsalud had 28 assists, seven digs and three aces as Waterford defeated NFA 25-13, 25-16 and 25-17. Jennifer Macca-Barnes added 10 kills and six digs, Emerson Lane nine kills, five digs and three aces, Ava Majeski 18 digs and Brielle Kenney eight kills for the Lancers (8-1). Savannah Guernsey had two kills, 10 digs and three assists for the Wildcats (8-4) while Evelina Klyukin had six kills and four digs and Faustine Canales Arrieta had seven assists and seven digs.

• Griswold beat Fitch 3-1 by game scores of 25-21, 25-21, 22-25 and 25-23. Ruby Logan had 37 digs and three aces for the Wolverines (5-4) while Abby Matheson added 13 kills and 24 digs, Kierra Nielson had nine kills, eight blocks and six digs and Olivia Gasparino had eight kills and three blocks. Bella Ditmore had 18 assists for the Falcons (3-7) while Abigail Malone had 11 kills and 3 aces, Juliette George had eight kills and Tessa Cantone and Trinity Sweat combined for 35 digs.

• Plainfield defeated Wheeler 25-15, 25-16, 19-25 and 25-18. Abby Butremovic had 22 digs and four aces for the Lions (4-6) while Addie Stanley added five kills and two blocks and Anna Barber two aces and four assists.

• Killingly defeated New London 29-27, 25-14 and 25-23. Nyarah Dudley had 10 kills, two blocks, 21 digs and four assists for the Whalers (5-7) while Serenity Lancaster finished with six kills and 19 digs, Raelyn Lopez 17 digs, 15 assists and seven service points, Jadelise Garrett two kills and 11 digs, Adriana Vitorino two aces and eight points and Cashel Jones seven assists and eight digs.

• Montville improved to 8-2 with a 25-22, 25-12 and 25-12 win over Windham. Zoie Farrar had eight kills and 10 digs while Mackenzie Payne added 21 assists for the Wolves.

• Peighton Andrews had 14 kills and nine aces to highlight Old Lyme’s 25-21, 25-11 and 25-16 win over Morgan in the Shoreline Conference. Grace Phaneuf added 24 assists for the Wildcats (6-5, 5-5) and Sydney Siefken had five kills and 12 digs.

• Grasso Tech rolled to a 27-25, 25-23 and 25-20 win over Ellis Tech in the CTC. Emma Pavlak had 14 service points and two kills for the Eagles (3-5, 3-4) and Alandra Johnson finished with eight points and eight kills.

• Windham Tech rallied for a 20-25, 10-25, 25-20, 25-21 and 15-10 win over Norwich Tech in the CTC. Abby Ulrich had 13 kills, three aces, one assist and one dig for the Warriors (4-6, 4-2) while Autumn Hanks added 10 assists, three kills, three aces and two digs and Olivia Luurtsema had seven aces, five assists, five digs and one kill.

Field hockey

• Keana Criscuolo and Alivia Schmidt scored goals as two-time reigning Class S champion North Branford handed East Lyme its first loss with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at East Lyme. Gracie Lloyd, assisted by Violet Maziarz, scored for the Vikings (4-1-1) and Emma VanDusen made 22 saves in goal.

• Ayla DeAna scored two goals as Old Saybrook defeated Westbrook/Old Lyme 3-0 in the Shoreline Conference. Abby Demers made two saves in goal for Westbrook/OL (3-4-1, 2-3-2).

Girls’ cross country

• New London’s Olivia Crane-Benjamin finished in 26th place at the 64th Nonnewaug Invitational in Woodbury. Crane-Benjamin, a sophomore, finished in 23:12.48.
