    H.S. baseball: Bobbi leads Lyman Memorial past Griswold

    Griswold — Jeremiah Bobbi was 4-for-6 with three RBI as Lyman Memorial beat Griswold 13-10 on Tuesday afternoon.

    Jared Russo had four hits and two RBI and Nick Chalifoux three hits and two RBI for the Bulldogs (8-3). Griswold is 9-5.

    In other games:

    • Wyatt Verbridge and Finn Eck homered as Stonington defeated Ledyard 12-1. The Bears are 7-5. Ledyard is 1-11.

    • Aidan Cochrane pitched a three-hitter and East Lyme won its fifth straight, 8-1 over Wheeler. Liam Cochrane had three hits and two RBI for the Vikings (8-3).

    • Dylan Matis pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts and Waterford defeated Bacon Academy, 9-1. Zaydin Martinez had three hits and three runs scored for Waterford (9-3) and Chase Linski had two RBI.

    • Fitch defeated Killingly 2-1. Trace Morales pitched a complete game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Pat Lindy, Griffin Pollard and Dom Zuliani had two hits a piece and Donte Valentine had a hit, RBI and scored a run for Fitch (4-7).

    • St. Bernard defeated Wilbur Cross, 7-2. Connor Gallagher earned his third win, throwing six innings with 11 strikeouts. Colin O’Leary had two hits with an RBI and a stolen base for the Saints (6-4).

    • Norwich Free Academy ended a three- game losing streak by beating New London, 11-0. Dan St. George and Brayden Canny combined for the shutout. The Wildcats (7-6) were led by Ayden Kempesta and Jonas Tiburcio with two hits apiece.

    • Grasso Tech lost to Ellis Tech 17-2 in a CTC game on Monday. Jerry Santiago and Raymer Guzman had two hits each for the Eagles (6-5).
