‘Jack Tuesday: Fairy Tale Investigator’ puppet show in EL
Now here’s a catchy title for a puppetry show: "Jack Tuesday: Fairy Tale Investigator.”
It’s a 1940s noir spoof in which Tuesday tries to find Little Bo Peep’s stolen sheep. During his quest, he encounters several other familiar fairy tale characters.
“Jack Tuesday” is a puppet piece that Lionheart Puppet Co. will perform Sunday at the East Lyme Community Center. It’s the latest presentation by the East Lyme Puppetry Project.
The performance lasts about 45 minutes and boasts hand and rod style puppets.
East Lyme Puppetry Project will collect non-perishable food items at the event for Care and Share, which provides food, financial and emergency support to individuals and families in East Lyme, Niantic and Salem.
"Jack Tuesday: Fairy Tale Investigator.,” 2 p.m. Sunday, East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Road, East Lyme; suitable for ages 4-11; tickets $7; non-perishable food also being collected; elppi.org.
