    Granite Theatre stages ‘Miracle on 34th Street’

    Granite Theatre in Westerly is celebrating the holidays with a production of “Miracle on 34th Street,” which it will stage starting Friday.

    The story, of course, is about a man named Kris Kringle (played by Lou Toscano) who portrays Santa Claus at Macy’s and spreads a spirit of generosity and good will. He says he’s the real Santa, which brings him to court hearing to prove that’s the case.

    Nicole DiMattei directs the production, which features a cast that includes Lily Bengston, Alaina Mueller, Elijiah Russell, Mary Pevear, Tom Steenburg, Ryan Sanborn, David Mccombe, Linda Shea, Rachel McGraw, Stephen Palermo, Erin Blake, Samantha Limner, Donald Ellis, Layla Bentley, Abigail Cohen, Ruby Costa, Nicole David, and Nayeli Jackson.
