It was during the pandemic that actors Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody became social media luminaries.

The duo, who have been married since 1980, were in lockdown, like most people at the time. Their son Gideon was living with them and began videoing them — their lives, their banter, their meaningful conversations.

It was a hit. Over time, that morphed into a stage version in which Patinkin and Grody talk about, well, everything in a conversation moderated by Gideon. That can range from family stories to professional anecdotes.

This live show comes to the Garde Arts Center on Sunday afternoon.

And in case you need reminding of their stellar backgrounds:

Patinkin’s acting credits have included the TV drama “Homeland,” the movie classic “The Princess Bride” and the Broadway musicals “Evita” and “Sunday in the Park with George.”

Grody was in the movies “My Bodyguard” and “Life with Mikey” and off-Broadway in “The Marriage of Bette and Boo” and “Top Girls.”

A Conversation with Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody, 3 p.m. Sunday, Garde Arts Center, 325 State St., New London; moderated by their son, Gideon Grody-Patinkin; $48 to $138 plus fees; (860) 444-7373, gardearts.org.
