“Hell’s Kitchen,” “Illinoise,” “The Outsiders,” “Suffs” and “Water for Elephants” will contend for best musical at the Tony Awards, as the nominations recognizing the best of the 2023-24 Broadway season were announced Tuesday morning.

The ceremony will be hosted by Ariana DeBose on June 16 at the Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater and broadcast on CBS.
