Access Health CT deadline remains today despite federal extension

Today remains the enrollment deadline for Connecticut residents who want to have health care coverage effective Jan. 1, Access Health CT, the state's online insurance marketplace, announced.

The White House announced a 24-hour deadline extension for those enrolling through the federal marketplace, www.healthcare.gov. The extension, however, applies only to the federal marketplace, not state-run exchanges such as Connecticut's.
