The last day of the work week may not be a breeze, but it will be windy.

A wind advisory is in effect from 1-10 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service said in a pre-dawn alert.

Parts of northern Connecticut, including the Hartford area, will see winds from 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects,” NWS meteorologists said. “Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.”

Those driving tall vehicles should be extra careful, they said.
