UConn Coaches' Road Show planned for June

The UConn Huskies Coaches' Road Show will travel to four cities in June, providing Husky fans an up close and personal experience with their favorite coaches.

Women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma, men's basketball coach Dan Hurley and football coach Randy Edsall will headline the tour that begins June 4 at the Glastonbury Boat House and then continues to the Stony Creek Brewery in Branford June 5, Hearst Tower in New York City June 6 and the UConn campus in Stamford June 7.

"I'm thrilled to now be a part of the UConn family and I'm looking forward to joining my fellow coaches and administrators on the first Huskies Coaches' Road Show," Hurley said in a release. "What a terrific opportunity for us to personally meet and greet UConn Nation to thank them for their support and spread the excitement we're feeling about the upcoming 2018-19 seasons."

At each stop, the three coaches will speak to the fans and partake in a short question and answer session. Other UConn coaches expected to join the tour will be announced at a later date.

"The UConn Huskies Coaches' Road Show is something that I have been looking forward to for a long time," athletic director David Benedict. "I am excited to have a chance to engage with some of our most ardent supporters in several of our most important constituencies and I know that UConn Nation will love to interact with the fantastic coaches we have in Storrs."

Tickets are available to the public and limited due to space at each event. Cost is $25 for the Connecticut venues and $40 for New York.
