Sculpting a new figurehead for the USCG Eagle: a three-year odyssey

Woodcarver Shane Kinman calls creating a new figurehead for the U.S. Coast Guard barque Eagle "the hardest job I've ever done." Kinman anticipates that the 15-foot eagle, now adorning the bow of the Coast Guard tall ship, should outlive him.
