Noah Feldman has grown up as an active member of the local music community. It seems he's been almost omnipresent, so it's actually sort of surprising that he's only just now turning 21.

He celebrates exactly as we'd expect him to: by playing music Friday in Norwich's Strange Brew Pub. Feldman's band, No Mind, will perform an opening set. Good pal and folksinger Christine Salazar — also celebrating a birthday — will also play. And then the floodgates open as a variety of pals and guests will sit in; it should be a fertile and festive night of entertainment with a wide-ranging array of original songs and intriguing covers.

Stop by and offer salutations. Who knows? You might end up on stage singing "Happy Birthday." Or at least "Sound Chaser" by Yes.
