Blue Monday, the free outdoor blues concert series, returns to Mystic River Park Monday with performances by the Mighty Soul Drivers, and Ramblin' Dan Stevens with Clayton Allen. Both acts were 2016 winners at the Connecticut Blues Society awards show. There are five Blue Monday shows in the series. Also scheduled  are The Hoolios (July 11), Dennis Gruenling and Doug Deming with the Jewel Tones (July 18), Kat Wright and Her Indomitable Soul Band (July 25), and the Boston Blues All Stars with Sugar Ray Norcia, Darrell Nulisch and Michelle Wilson (Aug. 1). Look for intermission performances from local youth acts. Showtimes are 5:30 p.m. and picnickers are welcome. No alcohol is allowed in park.
